just outside aalten we turn left to the 'huusken op de kamp'. driving down the driveway we see the first parking spaces on the left and the stately farm a little further on. here we park the car and can immediately use the charging station. the farmhouse dates from around 1900 and has already been expanded in the 40s, in the 80s further renovated and in 2012 again well taken care of. read along!
we enter the house through the front door and enter the hall where you will also find the toilet. fast forward to the living room and kitchen. the view through the former partial doors on the garden does not get boring quickly. the fireplace is lit for the occasion and can be admired from both sides. under the tiles, underfloor heating provides a pleasant climate in the winter months.
the kitchen is a real eye-catcher with a nice open layout so that contact with the rest of the room is optimal. the chef swings the scepter from behind his cooking island and will soon have all the necessary (miele) equipment at hand to pamper family and friends. next to the kitchen we find the utility room with also an entrance. here we look at the meter cupboard with sufficient groups and walk through the kitchen back to the living room.
then on to the study which also often serves as a cozy tv room, but can also function as a third bedroom. the adjacent (former) bathroom now serves as a generous utility and laundry room but of course can also be restored to its former glory.
finally, in the corner of the living room we take the stairs to the floor. through the landing with beautiful custom cabinets you have access to two spacious bedrooms at the front and rear. both equipped with velux skylights and of course the necessary insulation of roof and floors. the cv room (nefit topline 2010) is accessible through the hilde on the rear room. finally, we look at the spacious bathroom which is equipped with a wide washbasin cabinet, generous walk-in shower and a second toilet. nice detail are the original trusses kept in sight. underfloor heating here ensures a comfortable start to the day.

outside enjoyment we write deliberately with an exclamation mark behind it. with a total of 7740 m² of land beautifully situated around the farm, this tour of the grounds is definitely worth mentioning. we start with the spacious barn, including the two former stables, which you can use for storage, chores or to house some animals again. at the back of the barn, the thirty solar panels (2021) provide ample power for the house and possibly an electric bolide. a little further on we look at the second spacious barn that could use some attention and love. meanwhile, we wander past the vegetable garden and note a variety of fruit trees on the property. the access at the back towards the gendringseweg is only convenient. more to the front, we meander among the greenery of the landscaped orchard. the old clog barn on the property reminds us of days gone by but handy handymen will soon have ideas here!
